JBCC - NonResident Enrollment policy
Student Enrollment Projections and Capacity
USD 240 will have a limited capacity to accept nonresident students for the 2024-2025 school year. Based on the projected enrollment and capacity to operate effectively, USD 240 will accept nonresident students as outlined in the table below. Students living outside of the USD 240 boundary must formally apply for nonresident enrollment and use our application which will be available on or before June 1, 2024. Current non-resident students will be grandfathered in and therefore do not need to fill out the application. The completed application must be received no later than June 30, 2024. Applications may also be picked up and returned to the USD 240 District Office at 107 N. Nelson, Bennington. Students who are not residents of the USD 240 school district have the opportunity to apply for admission to one of our schools in Bennington or Tescott. The Board of Education has set specific class sizes for each grade level. The projected "open seats" are posted above for the 24-25 school year. The Board of Education will meet annually to review the thresholds and open seats.
The application window is currently closed, and will open June 1, 2024.
